Post 9- A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Personally, I've always love the lenguage. Since I was a child, I read a lot. Lenguage and Comunication was one of my favorites subjects in my student days. When I was in the secondary school, I used to speak very well. The teachers said that my vocabulary was formal and complete, and that the answers in the tests were very well written. It was a giant disappointment to know that in the real world (in college and studying journalism, accurately) my writing really  S**KS. 

Now, I have a subject that is call "Lenguage and redaction". In this class, I learn how to write in a good way, mainly focused on journalism, like the first paragraph or headline, how I can write those to correctly. One of the things that I like of this subject is that I learn with practical excercises, like create pur hedlines and see our own mistakes. Another things that we do is create informative notes, just like if we work in a newspaper, in this case, the thing that I said in the start is even more evident.
I think that is a great way to teach about a topic with this characteristics, with practical excersises.

    "Lenguage and reaction" It was a difficult subject for me, but I think it is very important to understand everything that is taught because it will serve for the rest of the career and obviously in the future employment

    I also took that subject when I was in my first semester of journalism, the subject was taught by Jennifer Abate, a professor who is no longer in college, but she teached me all the necessary things for the semesters that followed. She's the best!

    Lenguaje and redacción isn't easy. For me was even problematic... But I think I passed (hopefuly)...

Sexism Shown in a Fiction Character that I Love

It was so difficulte find a character for this topic. I was thinking in all the movies that I like, and finally I found it.  X-Men it´s a group of mutants superheroes, who fight with others mutants for their opposite ideals. In the group of mutants, exist a woman character called Mystique (or Raven Darkholme, her civil name). She have the power of change of forms, she can transform herself into whoever she wants, equaling even the voice. However, her really body is what you see in the picture, a blue body with scales. Why did you choose this career/study programme?

When I was a child, I always was so talkative. Also, I read a lot, so I have a good vocabulary. For those reasons, my choices were always in the humanist area. Other career options were Psychology, Social Work, Theater, History and, obviously, Journalism. The  indecision affected me in my last year of high school, but finally I decided for Journalism. I've never think that I can study in the University of Chile, but now I'm here, and I'm so happy, it's a good university with higly tried professionals. In the future, I would like to work in the radio or appear on the TV. Too much friends told me that I have the personality to do it that.

Childhood Series

I remember many series of my childhood, but the ones that I remember the most were the ones that I used to watch on weekends in the mornings, in the section "Cubox". Series like "Los Pulentos", "Diego y Glot", "Malcolm in the middle" and, the most important until today..."The Simpsons". Those are the series that I watched the most, but I remember others were also incredible too, like "Johnny Bravo", "Codename: Kids Next Door (KND)", " The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy", "The Flintstones", Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends", "Ed, Edd & Eddy", among many others that I watched in others national channels.
